WHAT IS RAM?
The RAM program was launched in 2015 with a $3 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education to support first-generation and low-income students. Each year, up to 250 first-year students are selected through random selection to join this unique opportunity—and you’re one of them!
What You’ll Experience
As a RAM student, you’ll have access to a range of activities and resources that will enhance your college experience, including:
-
🔬 Research experiences with faculty mentors—on and off campus
-
🧠 Innovative, engaging classes that build your confidence and skills
-
🤝 Dedicated advisors and mentors who support your academic and personal growth
-
💬 Workshops, events, and community service projects that connect you with your peers and the world around you
Why It Matters
Being part of RAM means you’re not doing college alone. You’ll have a team that’s here to help you stay on track, explore new possibilities, and graduate in four years—ready for whatever comes next.
We’re excited to have you in the program. This is just the beginning of a journey filled with growth, opportunity, and support. Welcome to RAM!
