Dr. Roshanak Keyghobadi is an award-winning educator and Assistant Professor in the Visual Communications Department at Farmingdale State College, SUNY. She teaches courses in Graphic Design, Typography, Histories of Graphic Design, Design Thinking and Interaction Design. Dr. Keyghobadi's work centers on contemporary design histories with a focus on global and underrepresented perspectives. She lectures widely, conducts research, and writes on design and visual culture. She previously served as Managing Editor of GRAPHIS Publications in New York City. Her artworks have been exhibited nationally and internationally and featured in publications such as Fiber Art Now and The New York Times.
