Bill Steedle has served as Assistant Dean of the School of Business since 2016, and is also an Associate Professor of Visual Communications at Farmingdale State College. A proud Farmingdale alumnus, Bill has been a dedicated member of the College community since 1981, serving in a variety of professional, academic and leadership roles.

Throughout his career, he has shared his passion for creativity and design through courses in photography, graphic design, digital media, and calligraphy. As a faculty member and later as department chair, Bill helped shape the future of the Visual Communications program; introducing Farmingdale’s first computer graphics courses in the early 1980s. He played a key role in developing the curriculum as the College transitioned from associate to baccalaureate degree programs and continues to guide its evolution in response to advancing technology.
